Everyone of any fitness level can join us! In saying so, pole dance is progressive, so start from a Pole Trial / Pole Starters and work your way up!
We welcome everyone, regardless of genders, sexual identities or orientation. Come and dance with us!
However, anyone 18 and below of age will need to acquire parental's consent before attending class. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for consent form and bring along a signed copy to class.
We appreciate your punctuality as a form of respect to the instructor and other students in your course.
1 Arrive at least 10-15 minutes before class starts to allow enough time for commute, check-in, registration, use of restroom, changing and settling in.
2 Late-comers are strictly not allowed to join the class for everyone’s safety. If you are late for more than 10 minutes and have missed the warm up session, you will not be allowed to join the class. You may however observe the class, and do make-up class within the term (subject to availability). There will be no refunds for late-comers.
1 Be on time for class, register and get dressed in workout attire prior to class.
2 No moisturiser, lotion or any oil should be applied on your body on the day of class.
3 No accessories should be worn.
4 No outside shoes allowed in studio, only pole heels are allowed.
1 Warming up is essential for every course and class in the studio. It is a must to participate in the entire warm up as they are tailored for the upcoming tricks and combos of the class.
1 Pole Classes –
Come dressed in comfortable, fitting workout clothes that do not restrict movements. Tank-tops, yoga shorts above the knees are preferred as we require grip on the pole.
2 Signature Classes –
Mauve Flow – Pole gear, with socks. No heels!
Pole Mauves - Pole gear, with heels! Kneepads optional.
What to bring
1 Two small towels (One for yourself, one for cleaning the pole. Cleaning alcohols are provided.)
2 Grip aids eg. Dry chalk, Liquid chalk, Shaving gel. No iTac allowed.
3 Knee pads for warm up if necessary, or floorwork classes
4 Leg warmers / leggings for warm ups to keep warm, or floorwork classes
We appreciate your respect for the instructor’s privacy by not filming them without their consent.
1 You may film yourself during the last 10 minutes of class, or with Instructor’s prompt.
2 Snippets of class routine may be uploaded on social media platform. Tag us at @mauve_sg, #mauve_sg #mauvedancestudio #poledancesg !
3 Please ask for fellow friends' consent before uploading if they are in your video.
4 Strictly no photography or filming are allowed if you did not attend the class.
5 No recording of instructors is allowed unless they consent.
We thank you for being responsible by staying home if you are not feeling well.
1 Smell great for your instructor and fellow friends! The deodorant is a great BFF.
2 Properly sanitize your floor area after using the pole / chairs and blocks. Cleaning alcohol will be provided, please bring your own cleaning towel.

2 Choose a course or class that suits your level and schedule and complete the booking by making payment.
3 For existing students looking to level up, please obtain clearance from your teachers before doing so.
Please sign up or classes/courses of your level, an admin fee of SGD20 applies for change in classes/courses.
Please note that the commencement of classes and courses (including pole trials) are based on sign ups. In the event that the class/course is unable to begin, we will offer an alternative class/course option. If you are unable to make the alternative class/course date/time, we will offer a refund in the form of credits.
Pole Trials are strictly non-refundable and cancellations are not allowed.
As commencement is based on sign-ups, we will offer an alternative date/time if the trial is unable to start. We do not allow deferments for pole trials unless in extreme circumstances (refer to Refunds & Deferments), in the event of which, only one deferment is permitted.
For Pole Trials that fall on the actual terms' classes, please note that priority will be given to those who sign up for the term course. Your spot is reserved, unless if we inform you otherwise. In the event that happens, we will offer an alternative trial date/time for you to join.
**Trials are intended for people who are considering or wish to join the Pole Starters course. If a one-off experience is what you are looking for, do contact us for private sessions/ events rates.
Workshops are strictly non-refundable and cancellations are not allowed. In the event that the workshop is unable to commence, amount paid will be refunded in the form of credits.
All sales are final and strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
If you are unable to continue or complete the course due to injuries and/or illnesses, please write in to email@example.com with your valid medical certificate or doctor's letter before the end of the term. We can offer partial refunds in the form of credits on a case-by-case basis depending on the circumstances.
Deferments are not allowed, unless you have a valid and sufficient reason (i.e. injury/illness supported by doctor's letter or medical certificate) and this is provided you have not attended a single class in the term.
Make ups for missed classes are to be done within the term with classes of the same level or lower, subjected to class capacity/availability.
For choreography classes, make ups can be done with choreography or tricks classes of the same level or lower, subjected to class capacity/availability.
For tricks classes, make ups can only be done with tricks classes of the same level or lower, all subjected to class capacity/availability. Tricks classes cannot be made up with choreography classes.
In the event that the term has only one such class or if class capacity is full, no make ups will be available and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
